Vanderbilt alum Muhammad Yunus spent a few minutes this morning with members of the media discussing his path from Vanderbilt to Bangladesh, and answering questions about how winning the Nobel Peace Prize has impacted him and his work. Yunus said the widespread media coverage winning the prize received has brought unprecedented attention and interest in microcredit, a concept Yunus created that has now helped millions of people work towards finiancial security.
