Vanderbilt University’s Exploration website has been named as an official honoree for the 2007 Webby Awards. The Webby Awards are the Internet equivalent of the Oscar’s, and only 15% of the 8,000 or so websites nominated each year are recognized as honorees. Exploration, the online research magazine for Vanderbilt’s science and engineering community, is produced by Vanderbilt’s Office of Science & Research Communications. It is one of the few university research magazines designed from the ground up as an online publication. Check out www.exploration.vanderbilt.edu to see the multimedia articles and research features for yourself. Get more info on the award at VUCast.
