“Evo Devo” researcher to speak at Vanderbilt

Sean Carroll, a leading research in evolutionary developmental biology (also called “evo devo”) will speak at Vanderbilt on March 29. Carroll is a professor and researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Wisconsin. His research has centered on the genes that control animal body patterns and play major roles in the evolution of animal diversity.
