Competition for YouTube?

Vanderbilt professor Yi Cui may have the technology to take on Internet giant YouTube. Cui recently won a National Science Foundation award to pursue his new technology for peer-to-peer media streaming. His system would eliminate the need for expensive servers and start-up costs by using the individual computers in the peer network. Read more about Cui at VUCast.

  1. I say good luck to Cui, I hate when entire sections of business are pretty much controlled by one company because it means they can literally just do what they want. A bit of competition will make them fight for their place.
